Do you allow pets?

Yes, Adanac Adventures is pet-friendly! We have a cat & a friendly dog that live with us here.  As long as your pet is well-behaved and in control, you can bring them along on your vacation. We do have an extra $25 per stay charge (+ taxes) for pets in each of our cabin units.

Pets must be kept on a leash and quiet. Please clean up after them and be considerate of others.

Due to public health concerns dogs are not permitted in the office or washroom areas.

Please do not leave your pet alone for extended periods of time.

Do you have fire pits?

We currently have small portable fire-pits for each power campsite.

We also provide a large shared fire-pit area. This area has been designed to be a safe area for open fires. It is in close proximity to a water supply and has lots of seating for guests.

We do allow guests to bring their own ‘portable fire-pits’ with them if they wish to have a private fire at their campsite or rental unit.

Fires are allowed only in designated fireplaces. Fire pits are not to be moved. Propane or portable fire pits permitted subject to management approval. The Management may prohibit campfires at any time they feel fires may present a hazard. Fires must never be left unattended and must be totally extinguished before leaving the site.

Containers may be requested for removal of ashes. The gathering or cutting of live trees or other vegetation including flowers within the Resort is prohibited.

Gathering of dead fall on the property is permitted upon request. Cut, bundled Firewood is also available for sale at our office.

Please be aware of the Municipality of Crowsnest Pass bylaws regarding fire pits:
“Fire Pit” means an outdoor receptacle that meets the following specifications:
i) a required minimum of 3 metres clearance, measured to the nearest fire pit edge to buildings, property lines or other combustible material;
ii) the fire pit edge does not exceed 0.6 metres in height when measured from the surrounding grade to the top of the pit opening;
iii) the fire pit does not exceed 1 metre in width or diameter when measured between the widest points or outside edges;
iv) the fire pit installation has enclosed sides made from bricks, concrete blocks, heavy gauge metal or other materials acceptable to a Safety Codes Officer having jurisdiction; and
v) a spark arrestor screen with openings no larger than 1.25 centimetres, and constructed of non-combustible mesh, is used to cover the fire pit opening, at all times when a fire is present, in a manner which will contain and reduce the hazards of airborne sparks and embers.
